Student-Run Clinic Elective (MED4032)

    • Develop clinical teaching skills

    • Provide care, counseling and education to underserved patients

    • Participate in community-based service learning

  • Grading is PASS.FAIL. Students will receive credit for working at least 10 student-run clinic shifts and passing an 15-question exam with a score >70%. Students must complete a clinical log and track their clinic shifts throughout the year.

  • To enroll in this course, please email the Student Coordinator for your class. Enrollment permission will not begin until December. Once you email the Student Coordinator, you will be asked to fill out a short survey. Once complete, the Student Coordinator will send you an enrollment permission email, which will then need to be brought to your scheduling meeting. Enrollment is capped based on clinic shift projections for the following year.
